Horland actually is cantonese for the country Holland.
People still say in cantonese when "ngoh huih horland" which directly translated means I went to Holland.
It is used to tell some one that he/she was lost or went a big roundabout
eg. Eh that bloody guy drive me around go until horland... otherwise i wont be late. -

Used when you go for out field section movement.
Means enemy has contacted you which requires you to prone and move to cover, subsequently charging, flanking, leap & bound or retrogate. -

I think the most important words should remember in our heart is "EXTRAS"....
when in outside world extra just mean of getting something more than what you have . But in SAF "EXTRA" is also getting something you don; t have and it will take away your precious weekend.........
