How not to get a particular posting

Years ago, my friend passed out of OCS and wanted to have a good life after that. He knew they were looking for some officers to send to Guards but there was also an opening in the NCC Training School (that was years ago). But how to get out of Guards and get into NCC School where there is a chance to see secondary school girls as part of your job?
At his interview, they asked him where he would like to go. He said immediately, "Guards. But I really prefer Special Ops." Surprised, his officers asked him why. He said, " I like to hear men scream when I plunge my bayonet into their bodies and slowly pull their guts out...you know what I would really like? I want to cut their hearts out before they can even scream.."
They sent him to NCC School....after a visit to the SAF psychiatrist. -

What interview? I didn't had one the last time. They just post you there.
The only cadets who had to go for interviews were those designated to stay as OCS instructors and MSD... then again that was 10 years ago. -

Yes, this was more than 10 years ago....in fact, it was more than 20 years ago when I enlisted. But I cannot vouch for the truth of the story. As I said, that was the story he told me...purely hearsay. But yes, we all had PC interview asking us where we would like to go...but in the end I don't think it mattered much what we said.Originally posted by tchiew:What interview? Quite random how they post people but my info is quite outdated by now. Why do you want to be a medic? You have to carry stretcher, medic pouch, your SBO and rifle....not to mention real casualty. Damn shiong..Originally posted by shade343:How to be a medic? -
