Hey the number 3 office attire , the long pants we cannot fold up even if the pants is too long right? must send out for alter right....then i ask u hor...durign BMTC..they give us...the number 3...confirm not...suit to our...leg length one...then how? we sew and alter ourselves first?

WAH LAU.... use some frigging common sense can or not? In BMT during your 5-day holiday, if the pants too long, go and find some thread and needle (also known as a sewing kit! if they never issue, ASK for some) and do a quick and easy job to make it suit. Once you're out of the island, on the weekend go ask your grandma, mother, sister, friendly neighbourhood tailor to alter it for you.

Anyhow sew lah. Just a few stitches if you can't sew well, just enough stitches to be able to hold it without some sides dropping, big stitches also never mind, just make sure the thread cannot be seen. The needle go in then come out, keep the stitches to about 1cm so that you or your neighbourhood tailor or whosoever altering you pants will have an easy time to unpick them later.
I also altered my uniform on my first day... not NS. I alter my working uniform pants the night immediately after, then when I have time after washing and drying it, I sew it more properly on Sunday.
