Life in Obese BMT

5BX means 5 basic exercise. it is nothing. log PT no more? rifle PT and PT is much more tougher.
i heard the scrapped ranger jump. i think it is physical exercise no 8. -
ask you all ar... if my enlistment date is on a friday, june 3rd, tomorrow the sat is my first weekend or not? then two weeks confinement, 1st week like that gone liao? My first book out will be on 18th or 25th?

you are not even inside yet. the only thing you are concerned with is booking-out. with this type of mentality i am sure you will find army life very hard to take.

1 more qns, if 15 weeks, friday enlist, the 1st weekend considered 1 week anot? then left 14 weeks? Know it all before I go in is better then know nothing before i go in

What are the vocations an obese recruit will go after BMT if he doesn't do well during BMT, like IPPT cannot pass, SOC cannot pass that type. Issit possible we be put to siong chiongster units like infantry if we never pass our IPPT and is still overweight after BMT?

Let me clear this : THIS THINKING IS TOTALLY WRONG!
Obese recruits is the same as PES B recruits and can be posted to any unit regardless of their BMT results.
Personnaly, I am an obese recruit once, I have obese BMTC friends (most of them slim down liao) in:
1.) signals
2.) Engineers
3.) Infantry
4.) Transport/Logistics
5.) Sispec (a bunch of them got in)
6.) OCS (A few got in during our BMT, but to my knowledge only 1 pass out)
7.) basically, all over, some even sign on. -

Next 3 or 4 weeks:
1. IMT
2. First Aid Test
3. Technical Handling of M16
4. Live Ranges
5. Short route marches (etc. 3km, 4km)
6. PTs
7. BCCT Lessons for 8 lessons thereof
Next 3 weeks:
1. Field Crafts (man I hate camouflague lesson!)
2. Field Camps (spilt into 2)
3. PTs
4. IPPT Evaluation
Next 3 weeks:
1. Trench Digging
2. SIT Test
3. BIC
4. BAC
5. Route Marches
6. Grenade Live Throw
Last 3 weeks:
1. Route Marches
2. PTs
3. Graduation March
4. POP Parade Rehearsal
5. Lots of Stand-by area
6. Maybe at this time you have more admin time... -
