Qns on NS leaves and holidays

NS, after bmt, how many days of leaves will we get? Then eve of public holiday will it be full day or what? Holiday is confirm off hor?

extra = day guard, either sentry or gate IC.
1 day 3 shift. each shift 2 hour. in between sleep or whatever your taiji.
no need do work. can sleep whole day. 6pm finish jit tao go home.

Sianz i planning to take leave on 23dec, then 24th is sat, 25th crhistmas sunday then monday is public holiday. Like that lor. 1 leave = 4 days off.

All NSF are entitled 14 Days Annual Leave per Calander Year (1 Jan - 31 Dec)
If say you enlisted in 13 June naturally your Annual Leave will decrease accordingly. There is a formula to calculate that.
You can carry the balance leave from the previous year to the new Calander Year once. (ie You have 3 days remaining in 2003, you can carry over to get 17 days in 2004. However if your did not use any leave at all in 2004, your 3 days will be forfeited).
If you intend to take 1/2 day leave on a Holiday eve, I can tell you to forget about it. It will be counted as 1 day leave as according to GOM.
And when you decide to clear leave, don't take more than 14 days continously within a fornight as that would include your Sat & Sun. I suggest that you take 10 days and take one day off. Don't waste your leave.
Always talk to your Leave Clerk/Asst Chief Clerk/Chief Clerk. If you can't ask your Coy Admin Spec/Clerk to help.
