Signal Operator

Hi, I OOCed from SISPEC about a few weeks ago and I just received my posting. I will be posting to Khatib Camp as a Signal Operator.
I thought Signallers are posted to Stagmont Camp?
Anyone out there knows the job scope of a Signal Operator?
Is it a 8 to 5 job?
Do I need to chiong? (I got knee injury, hope I don't need to chiong)
Can some kind soul out there help me because I will be reporting there tomorrow! -

but u may also be a runner ... also not that bad....

But then its a bit weird lehz... They ask me to bring SBO and webbing when I don't need chiong sua...
How often is Bn training?
I got injury how to be a runner!
Anyway, mine is stay-in from what I know from the AO in SISPEC. I dunnoe if it applies to trainees only... -

Maybe working for HQ? I dunnoe... I am kinda confused right now... With my current medical conditions, how am I able to be a signaller huh?

Your posting is Khatib Camp, but after you reach there, they might send you to SI for Signals course, then you will go back to Khatib Camp after you are done with your vocational training.

Isnt there a difference between signaller vs. signal operator? The latter needs to have a higher security clearance. During my time, operators learn a different craft and are secretive. Not much field time. Always in secured areas. So if you are operator, life is good.
