I have seen none, though have had a few spooky encounters. I suspect most noises in the Jungle can probably be explained by animals. Eg. I was walking along with my fren one evening abouts Tekong when i thought i heard someone following us. Like the tactical infantryman man that i am, i immediately gave the signal to stop and to slowly, and tactically, assume the squatting position. The sound stopped as soon as we did.
We scanned our arcs for threats but could see none. Hearing and seeing nothing, i gave the carryon sign and we emerged from the undergrowth, rifles at the ready. As we moved off, i heard the sounds of movement behind us again. Again we stopped and scanned our arcs. Again the sound stopped.
Feeling pretty foolish, we decided to move towards the source of the sound because
1) We didn't want to lead the enemy to our position
2) We knew the enemy did not have live rounds and were probably some fat, unmotivated infantryman who would rather be in orchard road anyway. In short, we were confident of our ability to outrun them.
3) We wanted to prove to ourselves that there were no such thing as Ghosts/Ufos/Fairies.
Anyway, we went towards the source of the noise to find absolutely nothing. We never heard the sounds of movement again. I put it down to a dog or a wildboar.
Except for the part about being tactical, the above in mostly true.

Me see no pretty girl in the trees leh. Shine L-torch everywhere also didnt see. Scan everywhere during peeing or sentry duties.. nothing. Search everywhere while prowling.. nothing. So disappointed sia..
