i think it is true tt many choose rsaf over army.
Coz I've been watching out for the opening of WSO positions but it seems like there're always no vacancies. in fact, AFRC askd my fren to reapply agn in the next financial year due to lack of vacancies.
Does this "lack of positions" prblm happens w the army too? -

flying multi-million dollar machines in the form of airplanes (or having something to do with it) is certainly much more attractive than putting on camo and chionging through jungles and rivers day and night. at least for those who do not have a deeper understanding of what really happens, and of what they really can do and want. -

most would think life as a ground crew is easy, well not at my place. -

not necessarily bad. it usually means the airforce gets a "first cut" of a larger pool of potential candidates, and should also mean no lack of wannabes.

I went for my interview and chatted with the interviewing officer for a long time i guess... I was the only guy in uniform too, the rest of the interviewees were student.
Anyway for me, i think the interview was just a formality... -

2 officer interview me,,, more relax then the AOSS interview 6 officers....

they say call me within 1 month. but now haven call..this wed is 2nd week. direct entry means airforce nvr sponsor me my 3 years in poly fees, so it means no $14k for me.
the officer ask me if i pass or fail napfa, but i fail.
me only 1 officer interview me leh, he told me since i graduated liao then if kanna direct entry then i only need to pass his interview can liao. me apply for senior tech, wad is AOSS? -
