  Most theory classes like technical handling, 1st aid etc should be cleared by 1st 2 weeks.
  
  SOC depends on your company schedule. Some clear range 1st, some field camp some SOC etc. Normally SOC is nearer to the end though.
  
  30:60 i think is about 4-8 i think. 4got already cos we rarely do speed training. AGR is more common.
  
  Bookout on friday night.

  The list is roughly accurate i would say. Most of the required stuff doesn't change and if you really did miss out anything, you can still get them on your 1st bookout. You will rarely get in trouble for not having things during 1st 2 weeks.
  
  The required stuff from beach road will be told to you by your PS or sect comm before your 1st bookout on what they want you to get. It might vary so just wait and see what they want.
  
  There will only be 1 2 week long confinement either during PTP or during BMT for those direct BMT.
  
  You will normally bookout on saturday morning and bookin on sunday evening. Sometimes weekends might be burn due to activities like field camp etc so there will be some adjustments here and there.
  
  Most units after BMT are stayin so if you get a vocation that lets you stayout everyday then you are 1 of the luckier guys out there. All combat units and certain logistics units are stayin.
  
  Normal life will definitely be disrupted especially for stayin personnel but its for you to balance your own time between friends and family during your bookouts and nights off.

  talk long long in night time in bunk only, ur own free time till lights off.
  
  no carry around, locked in bunk cupboard during day, got time to change clothes/rest time, can use for a while.,

  I just received this letter today which says:
  
  "We would like to inform you that you have been reassigned to the BASIC MILITARY TRAINING CENTRE (BMTC) SCHOOL 1, instead of BMTC SCHOOL 2 to serve your National Service (NS)..."
  
  What's school 1 and school 2 and what's the difference?

  Yes but must tell you SGT, then either they approve or advice you change date.

  Just a personal feeling, sch 1 coys are less xiong compared to sch 2. There are only famous sch 2 coys but few famous 1s in sch 1 and even any is nowhere near sch 2.
  
  I was from sch 1 before and we never ever did 5BX during my stay in tekong so i can say i totally dunno wat 5BX consist of since i never ever done it but from what i know sch 2 does it often.
  
  School 2 canteen is alot better than school 1. At least during my time it was and we rather go to sch 2 canteen if possible but the chances were rarer.

  just a question about field camp. field camp got confinement right? so usually field camp will end on sunday right? are we allowed to go home after that?

  just wondering how u guys know which intakes are leadership or not and whether mine is.
  
  and also, whether there are any determinants on when ur intake is

  i was from sch 1 too ..... i agree tat generally sch 1 coys r less xiong .... me too nv did 5 BX before ..... but i had lots of canteen breaks .. but closer to POP ... n oso sch2 recs some times get to book out early like on friday night .... tats was like 3 yrs ago i was in tekong

  My field camp started on a fri or sat i 4got. The week you have your field camp is confined since its a 7 day camp and usually you it will be a weekend or a bookout day due to PH 1 or 2 days after end of field camp

  Jacob's Ladder is merely a test of confidence. The rest of the stations depend a lot on technique and physical fitness. Get as much practice as you can.

  i'm enlisting on 25th jan 2008. stated time is 1130 am.
  do i have to be at bmtc 2 at 1130 am or 1130 am to board the bus frm pasir ris interchange and ferry?
  and any idea what time the bus comes?

  just 1130 go to e shuttle bus terminal end at pasir ris interchange.
  
  there got pple doing e registration check ur name on e list.
  
  bus timing is e same as a typical shuttle bus service commercial.
