Im currently pes c2l2 (temp). I wish to go for pes c bmt recourse but the MO has failed me in the FFI. Is it possible to seek a second opinion eg see another MO? The MO had a very high standard (must not have any medical conditions) and failed virtually eveyone for the pes c recourse ffi. I really wanna go back for my bmt :)
Hi, i'm new here.
i heard from my friend that april is obese intake, and i'm in april intake. but i'm ALMOST underweight, so is it right that i'm in obese intake? my friend told me tht i might be in the enhanced batch, so i'd like to confirm this issue, or i got posted wrongly?
how many enhanced batches are there?

First of all, obese intake as the name would suggest, only take in obese recruits(overweight).Unless things have changed over these past few years,I do not remember seeing any skinny guy over in the obese coy during a fresh intake...
Since you are only borderline to being underweight,I think you should be in the enhanced batch. In fact,I have seen quite a few light weight guys in the enhanced batches before and they had no problems coping.Only difference is whether you are going for the standard bmt or the "command school" type and whether you passed your napfa.

Unless theres any change, obese intakes are only in June and Dec. Apr is generally an enhanced intake for JC students who pass NAPFA.
oh, i see. thanks alot :)
and is it okay if i lost my enlistment letter when i already took note of all the infomations? or do i have to call and get them to send me another?

I don't remember whether that letter is of any use since its so many years ago. Maybe you can check with your friends who still have their enlistment letter whether theres anything about it that says you need bring it if not i don't think it would be required.

The most common are stand by bunk, standby area, stand by bed i think.
Standby bunk is just general cleaniless of your bunk. Standby by is cleaniless of your bunk as well as checking your cupboard to make sure everything is stored according to the specific arrangement. Standby area if never remember wrong is the above 2 including your allocated cleaning area which are areas around your company line.

Whatever tip there's is all bull shit, remember your SGT and PC were once recruits too....it's depend of how serious the take all these standby...
Turn out is mainly for guard duty only.....
Turn out is more for guard duty bah. This is a command mostly given by the guard commander to gather the guards to check their alertness and training of some drills. When a turnout is given, everyone have to shout it out loud and rush down to the guard room office to collect their weapons before they hetaktaki and wait for the guard commander to give them commands.
If the turn out if not done well, the guard commander can repeat the entire procedure again till he is satisfied. My best record was only giving 3 times turn out since myself as the guard 2IC and the guard com both felt the guards did too badly.

those tips are like, areas that recruits usually will not clean like tight areas of cupboard..

No matter how clean you can make it, they sure will find areas to pick on and punish the whole section. I haven't heard of any tekong spec that can do a standby and not issue at least a min of 20 pushups.

Hi
I just wanna know...I got the letter from MINDEF to register for NS in April...when approximately do u think is my enlistment date? (I'll turn 18 only in Dec)
Do u tink my enlistment will be as soon as in Dec right after A levels?
for A lvl grads, NS usually in the dec/jan or mar/apr, the latter month is for those who got at least a silver in napfa.
oh...
But I haven't taken NAPFA yet because of my medical status which allows me to excuse from it. So what will be the impact on the enlistment date?
Also, I want to know if for my case, will I likely to be enlisted in the Dec/Jan batch or Mar/April batch? ( I will only register in April unlike my friends who have registered earlier). I just want to know if I have enough time to return to my homeland after A level ends in 4 dec...may be 2 weeks.
thanks a lot for your reply.
