As far as i remember, they will let you out to take the exams as long as there is no important training that you die die cannot miss type if not they might have to sent you to another coy to take it.
Just study hard and don't worry too much about it. Worry more about your physical fitness depending on how poor it is since PTP is still relatively demanding for people who are very unfit.
Failed my napfa chin up. u_u *sob* LOL i only did 1!! that's really pathetic result . XD keke~ But really hope you spot it... that there isnt important training at that period of time. x.x

Its BMT period liao and each company has a different training plan. Your PC should be able to tell you better whats on during that period.
Just fail pullup is fine la, i last time fail pullup, 2.4, sbj, finish PTP and BMT also still never pass all 3 even if 2.4 i failed by less than 5s from the initial 2-3mins and pull up i went from 0 to 1 :p You are already MUCH better than me
Hi all, I saw a topic on taking leave for exams.
I have a similar situation. I am enlisting in 08th Oct and I will have exam (taking part time studies) on the 17th December. By that time I'll probably POP already right? Then who should I go to to take leave if that is possible?
The school will be providing us with the letter stating the exam.

17th Dec with luck might be your 1 week break or just the starting of your posting to new unit. You'll have to inform the new unit in this case but its abit rush and last min.

Mostly in Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct if i not wrong, similar to the PES A/B direct BMT intake in months but abit later since your course is shorter than theirs
then cuz i booked for check up rather late, like 2 months from others, do i get enlisted late too?

Should be fine. The poly intake checkup are normally done later in the year so your time period should still be the JC checkup period.
going in soon on 15th june, meaning i have to have the 4 weeks extra training.
really interested in ocs. but dunno if can go or not.
im pes B, slightly overweight when i took my medical but trained damn hard after that, so went down :). poly results can be considered good (3.9x). if i perform well in bmt, will i still stand a chance?
Anything i have to look out for?
thanks in advance :)

Click on the 'gear' at that is on the top right hand corner of the posting and you will see a reply link.
Good luck for your NS. If Xelement is similar time with you in the morning, you 2 might be in the same company or even platoon

No problem. Good luck with your training. 2.4 should be easy to improve since you have alot of running activities in PTP. I managed to improve from 14-15+mins till i just failed by less than 10 seconds on my final IPPT test in tekong.
Chinup on the other hand requires more effort on your part since i hate the chinup regime. All it cause is blisters on my hands with chinup everyday before meals and it sucks terrible when the blisters breaks and even bleed...
