If u can pass NAPFA, submit ur results to CMPB and you might be able to get enlisted in Jun. I believe the Feb intake would be full soon if its not already full since the Feb letters are already sent out.

Hi all. i got some questions. my pes is C9L2. the thing is that im obese with bmi over 35. the bmt period only lasts for 7 weeks which im sure that time alone period won't be enough for me to slim down.
life after bmt still got any form of exercise or not?
got gym or not in NS? can use for whole 2 years?

Exercise is dependent on your unit, but most units will have morning runs 3 times a week which you might be able to join in if you are not doing sai kang.
Gym confirm all camps got. But you can use only during your own "free time" though.

Its better known as admin time which is the time u have left after training.
For PTP, generally admin time starts after dinner or about 7+ where you can go REC mess to watch tv, rest in bunk, bathe or for the more hardworking 1s, request permission to do ur own training such as running on the track or going gym etc. The only thing not advisable to do during admin time is to fall asleep since theres always a chance ur sgts or officers might suddenly decide to get u all to fall in for something or for the daily RO.

When are the dates of enlistment for PES C recruits? (usually which months of the year?)
Will they send a letter 2 months in advance before enlistment or what?
Also, which type of PES C recruits get to go home everyday?

PES C enlistment dates are uncertain since there is a change in enlistment dates from Dec onwards due to the new training system.
Generally letters should be sent at least 2 months in advance but a rare few might get them at a shorter notice.
All PES A/B/C RECs will have to stay in tekong throughout their training duration with only weekends off excluding the initial 1 week confinement.

Never heard of a sch 3 yet. The only 'new' coys i know are the 2 or 3 new coys that are now using the former SISPEC camp but they belong to sch 1
Coy Q Y Z are at Rocky Hill under Sch 1.
But due to the change in the training schedule, they are adding in new coys at Rocky Hill and will be on its own as Sch 3 instead of under the control of Sch 1. -
what about after we are posted to our own vocations? are there any PES C recruits who
can come back ome on weekdays?

Unless you OOT, by the time you got to unit u will be a PTE not a REC anymore.
Its not by vocations but by the camp you are posted to. There are many stayin clerks, storeman etc even thought many thought such vocations are surely stay out.

Rather than the PES, it depends more on the vocation.
Clerks, storemen, service medics are a few to name, though do note that NOT ALL of those who are from these vocations have the welfare of staying out.

I juz wanna check...I'm not JC 2, going 2 sit for A lvls, and I had my check-up in July..some of my friends got the enlistment letter already..however, due to my med. condition (bilateral shin stress injuries), i went to MO in Oct to give my doctor's memo..but he asked for a formal letter from my doc. then..which they'll ask for themselves, after which, they ll send me the letter stating my PES status n the enlistment date...what i wanna ask is if my enlistment will be delayed due to my med. condition or because of assigning my PES? tentatively, wen will i be enlisted?

It will be delayed since they cannot fix ur enlistment without ur PES. Have you even got your PES letter yet cos enlistment notice will be some time after ur PES is confirmed. If you have not even receive ur PES, its highly unlikely you will ever receive ur enlistment letter anytime soon.
All the upcoming intake slots are filled already so you might have to wait a longer time for your enlistment.

PES C i do not know but the upcoming PES A/B slots in Dec and Feb are mostly already filled i believe since letters have all been sent out. PES C should also be somewhere within this range of period so the next intakes should be all after Apr.

May I ask how long, approximately, it will take for the enlistment letter to be sent after the PES confirmation letter is sent?

there is no fix duration as it depends when they are able to slot u into 1 of the intakes

Most of the cases I have heard of from C to A/B do not need to go for re-BMT. I did heard of one case where the poor guy need to go for re-BMT. Just pray hard that you are not that one out of so many.

So how well are you getting use to military life?
Every soldier only need to complete BMT once regardless PES A/B/C. If u complete PES C BMT already, even if you up PES to A/B, u will not re BMT. However if u OOT from PES C BMT and were upgraded later, you can be sent for re BMT in the PES A/B BMT.

ok i jus wanna double confirm. cause some ppl said need. And my chances of up PES is rather high lol. and i don't wan to be back in tekong for another kind of treatment.
