Every soldier only need to complete BMT once regardless PES A/B/C. If u complete PES C BMT already, even if you up PES to A/B, u will not re BMT. However if u OOT from PES C BMT and were upgraded later, you can be sent for re BMT in the PES A/B BMT.
i know of a guy in my company, he finished pes c bmt and then get posted out.then he up pes to become pes a/b then he came back to retake bmt as a private.

That is quite rare. The only case i know of that is someone who choose to go for PES A/B BMT after he completed PES C BMT was because he wanted to go command school so he went for BMT again and subsequently went on to SISPEC.

Hi voltrons,
Do not worry too much about it. There is a slim chance that you will have to go for re-BMT, but it is not very high.

Hi, I'm scheduled for BMT Pes C recourse in Jan next year. Current pes is C9L3. No other excuses.
What I want to know is will I have to do range and field camp as L3 sort of means deployable at bases only or something like that..
And also, will everyone going on the same day be from the same company (800 + ppl assuming allpass their ffi) or how will they split up?
Oh, and how will the bmt be like? Very slack or...

Yes u will go through everything that a normal PES C field camp has during your recourse just that it tends to be slacker and the specs generally treat recourse ppl better though thats subjective.
1 company obviously cannot take 800+ people so sure to be split into a few different companies.

The PES A/B direct BMT intake is in early Feb but all letters for Feb should have been sent out so if you have not receive your enlistment letter or you are supposed to go for PTP then you do not need to worry.

Oh they have already sent out? Which means most likely i'm not in Feb intake? I'm currently PES D as they suspect i have TB. But result are out and is they say is negative, i sent back my medical review form le, but till now no news yet. How come?

If u have not even receive ur confirm PES status, u will not be scheduled for enlistment.
This means that the earliest your enlistment will be might be Apr if u fail NAPFA or Jun if u pass it.

Er they will send 1 more letter for confirmation PES status or do we have to go down to CMPB to do the whole check-up again?
I fail my NAPFA man, so most likely i will be in Apr intake?

Earliest is Apr if not Aug depending on whether there are any slots in the Apr intake when they decided ur PES. However Apr and Aug are guesses only since the intake schedules have changed for next year so we are all not confirm of the enlistment dates.

Who activate the mod for you? Is it a difficult job to become a mod?

U should get the letter within this month or next.
Mods are decided by the owner of each forum. The difficulty of the job depends on how many people create trouble and need us to lock the threads :p

Hmm, just heard from a friend that he pass NAPFA but his intake in Apr.
Seems like the new schedule is not as direct as i believed...
Anyone who failed the NAPFA, did not get the Dec intake can share their enlistment dates?

If i'm not mistaken, i have schoolmates who failed napfa enlisting in march. But it seems that most people from my school are going into the December/February batch.

Dec/Feb are confirm batches already but all subsequent batches are unknown. Mar would be a wierd date and it depends on each intake how many coys are going to be active, tekong might be very crowded if they have an intake in Mar when the Dec and Feb intakes are still on the island.

My coy jus completed field camp. As for C9L3 in my coy, they are excused road march and field camp. During field camp, they are required to be there. But they need not stay overnight there.

C9L3 are required to be there but do they have to take part in any activties or do they just go out into the field and do nothing for the whole day and just return to company line at night?
Your post seems to hint that they do nothing at all.

hmm not really nothing.They go for field camp help those C9L2 to dig shit hole. Then they participate in the firing of blanks and the prone-ing stuffs. That should b all C9L3 need to do.

i've been graded c9l3... the mo wrote excuse physical... means my 7 week in tekong stay in bunk ah?
this means i also issued very little stuff? bookout empty handed? or still got fieldpack everything?
btw... when will i enlist ? january?

There is never stay in bunk in SAF. Any activity you are excused, you will be doing sai kang such as cleaning the drains, toilets, smoking area etc etc. There are also non physical base activities you have to attend if not you will simply fail ur BMT and have to recourse again later in ur service term.
U will be issued with almost the same stuff as PES A/B except the gortex jacket which is 1 of the most expensive item army issues which is for PES A/B only.
Enlistment dates for PES C is uncertain at the moment but unlikely to be ever before Feb-Apr since all the enlistment notice for that period all seems to have been sent out already. If you just got your PES means they will only start finding a slot for you now which should be in the middle of next year generally.

btw... some of my friens say have to go for pes B bmt if upgradeded to pes B after 6 months? some forum posts say no need once you poc already.... so what is the definite ans??

Most people won't be recourse but there are a small number who does.
However, if i didn't recall wrongly, your excuse is 6 months temp so you might be sent for PES A/B BMT if your enlistment date is after May when your excuse expire. It will depend on how the clerks arranging enlistment decides about your PES.
