most of my friends from the same poly course have got their enlistment letter.
i havnt got my enlistment letter yet.
from poly and pes bp..

can anyone shed light on how my c2l9 tekong stint would be like? also is it 9 weeks tekong or 4 in tekong followed by 5 weeks mainland vocational bmt?

PES C2 & C9 BMT
Previously, PES C enlistees underwent a 7-week BMT programme. The new 9-week BMT programme will be conducted for PES C recruits. This programme will include light physical training and vocational training to prepare them for combat service support vocations, such as service medic, and those related to logistics and administration. -

PES B2 BMT
Enlistees who were PES C1 previously underwent a 7-week BMT programme. The new 9-week PES B2 BMT programme will be conducted for recruits who are medically fit for deployment in selected combat and combat support vocations, such as signal operators, combat medics and naval system operators. These recruits will be given a new medical classification of PES B2, in place of the existing PES C1 classification. This is to ensure that the medical classification of our soldiers is consistent with their deployment. The new 9-week programme will include customised physical training, as well as basic combat training to prepare them for their combat and combat support roles. -

I'm enlisting next week. According to the list, there is quite a number of things which we have to bring along with us when we enlist such as toiletries, washing powder, powder, goggles etc.. Are we allowed to transfer these stuff to the cupboard next to our beds or are we expected to take/keep them in our bags (the ones which we brought from home) when/after using them?

Hi , new to this forum thingy.
My son and i left singapore for UK after remarrying in 2004. He was born in 1997, now 13. We went back to Singapore 6 months ago,to visit my M&D. got a letter from Mindef saying he will require an exit permit before we go back to UK. Confused and called them to explain.
I have ceased to be a singapore citizen 21 April 2011
My son has obtained British citizenship Nov 2010
My son's care and control is awarded to me, his bio father is not allowed to have unsupervised access (very little contact anyway)
Personal protection order to me because of domestic violence
will mindef exempt him on these grounds ?
