2. if enhanced leadership batch means higher rate of command school, but how to show you not interested in command school? and if you dont want command school, is it confirmed you will be in chiong sua vocations? How to request for vocations like RP, MP?

actually i have alrdy read and gave up at abt page 20+
but most of the info are from 05 and i dont see much on field camp one.

Hi. Field camp is the most xiong or perhaps the second most xiong in BMT. Tips well, Just keep your rifle safe. Tighten your blank attatchement and also take good care of your magazine. You can black tape the magazine if its allowed. In short, everything safe and not stunned. My personal experience, i smuggled wet wipes during my field camp. Hide it inside my ration pack. You can try it if you wish but beware of field pack inspection.
They will ask you to express interest. Just indicate that you are not interested. Tell your sec com/ pc or even oc about it. Mp require interview. So that means you have to impress the Mp sargent when there is a interview.

hi, thanks loads for the help :) oh another question i would like to ask is is there any criteria to pass bmt? Like i heard just complete the 24 km route march.

I am not sure the exact criteria. Maybe check out the faq. I think no. You can fall out of 24km and still pass your bmt.

Do it right the first time, if you go out-of-course, they'll send you a recourse to do everything again....dun chao keng...just bite your teeth and persevere...make sure you pass it the first time !

Different company got diff stand i think. But for route march, yes best not to skip cause they will re-road march. Unless u chao keng it all. Important things like range field camp sit test better go take.

To be safe, pass ALL trainings and exercises....then no worry about recourse for sure !

hi guys, I'm enlisting on 10th june for ptp. Just want to ask how do i find out what bmtc school number I'm in (1/2/3 or 4) because the letter only tells me to report to BMTC HQ and i see many ppl posting here who knows which school they are reporting to. Thanks.

Received my letter today for 3rd Nov enlistment. =.=
Is there anyway to bring forward to the August batch? I really dun wanna wait another 5mths from now. And after all the calls to ask them to put me in earlier batches totally bo chap.

Common sense isnt it ? Its army, not your father's company. If everyone wants to go august then whose going to the november batch ?

Shiok what. Use this time to train up. If you get gold for ippt some companies allow early bookout. It may seem like nothing to you right now, but when you enlist even 5 mins book out early you also want. -

hi all, can't find any answer to this. If lets say i choose not to go command sch, means i confirm will be infantry? If i tell my pc during interview that i want rp or something else, will they listen?

I'll be enlisting in slightly more than a week's time. Can I do without bringing my own clothes and purchase extra admin/PT shirts and shorts instead? How much do they cost?

i just got letter Direct Enlistment to 41st BATTALION SINGAPORE ARMOURED REGIMENT (41 SAR)
anyone can tell me about this unit? i was really sad when i did not get letter from NDU, cause i went for the vocational assesment and passed everything and was very interested.

You mean purchasing an extra set of admin/pt from the emart using real money ? You can do so. But i wont advice, since thats wasting your own money. SAF should provide you with at least 3 sets of PT/ADMIN shirt pants. You should survive your confinement week with that. At least i did.

Seriously spent 3hours of my time reading over 89pages of useful infos, but all answer this question. How many packets of cigarettes can we bring in? I've got 2 more days before I'll die in camp, heavy smoker here. :(

Be prepared To smoke very little. You will surrender your cigarettes after you go in. One day should be able to smoke at least 3 times perday -

oh by the way, I got a silver for napfa
PES C even if u get silver for NAPFA also cannot reduce 2 months only PES A and B ppl can reduce 2 months.
