  Is there outfield camp in the first 2 wks of bmt? cos if there is no, i dun wan to bring mineral water if there is no camp in first 2 wks...

  Can the lot of you stop attacking this guy? He's training to be a sniper/LRRP/scout!! Believes in carrying his own water cos he will be totally independent for all five days.
  
  lktlkygr, your FBO (full battle order) is heavy enough if you're doing it for the first time, no need to load yourself down with an additional 5litres of water ok? Just drink the stuff from the jerry cans. In fact asking some to carry two FULL water bottles is already too much.

  actually usually the water you get from the streams there is good - you don't even need a puritab provided the water is flowing.
  
  but if your training package includes swamp topo, then you had better bring enough water - you don't want to drink the water in there if you can help it. nevertheless, it won't kill you - i drank some of the water as described in my prev post with no ill effects at all.

  the water from the boot washing point is not the same as tap water. didn't u see the sign saying "NOT FOR CONSUMPTION" there? it's rain water if i'm not mistaken.

  Last time 1st few weeks coz everyone rush to fill ip..Unknowingly some people go fill up from there and drink..Nothing happened to them..hehe
