culling is a frequent occurence now happening on sundays like once every 2-3 months. explaining the sightings of shot gun shells in training ground.
pest control also... there's actually much lesser mosquitoes now.

heard this lao chiao tale that the SAF leaves the wild boars alone, something supernatural about it ... they say that everytime a wild boar is killed, a serviceman will die somewhere on the island later ...... had a run in with a wildboar on tekong once, when just me and a buddy was doing rebro ...
also another time when i was a sick chicken on picket duty during live firing at pasir laba, i saw a wild boar across the bushes from me .... anyone else had a similar experience too ? .... wild boar encounters on the mainland ? ...
