I think it is the same all over. A camp mate of mine was fined because he was a front-seat passenger of a GP car that was involved in an accident with a taxi. I myself was given a warning for falling asleep in the vehicle commander's seat. Both incidents took place at 10 SIB.Originally posted by Zooish:Dunno abt army side, but for airforce, the fella who is the front seat passenger is considered the vehicle commander(v-com), if got accident, the v-com will have to take responsibility as well.
Nope.Refueling drogue. That would be a MH-47D variant.Originally posted by ceecookie:is the pole like thingie in front a machine gun?![]()
neither the driver of the 1.5 tin nor the v-com is at fault. it was afterall the 4th truck which crashed onto the 1.5 ton.Originally posted by chunyong:someone has to take the blame...bo bian....its like dat one.
too many ppl on the 1.5 ton, v-com will get somethingOriginally posted by Gordonator:neither the driver of the 1.5 tin nor the v-com is at fault. it was afterall the 4th truck which crashed onto the 1.5 ton.

Overloaded ah? then i think its FDS personnel involved liao... *shakes head*Originally posted by Master -_-:10 + 1
First of all, the driver and VC already made a mistake by overloading. The already can be a chargeable offence

How about the Unimog? How many people can it carry? On the first page, it said a MB-290 was used.Originally posted by Zooish:Overloaded ah? then i think its FDS personnel involved liao... *shakes head*
Always a problem when handing and taking over duties at Changi East. In the past use rover and mini-van need to make 2 trips even if overloaded. After i left heard they got 1.5 ton, but still need to overload in order to make just one trip, if not the handing over personnel will only book out ard 2pm or 3pm which means half the off-day gone. CAB East is just too bloody far.
Poor NSFs getting screwed over by a lousy system and incompetent management.
I think its the weight of the vehicle.Originally posted by MBHawke:I'm not sure if this would be a good place for this question. But can anyone help? What does the number on a yellow round disc, located on front of mindef vehicle represent?
The yellow round disc is the MLC or Military Land Classification. It is normally refered by Combat Engineers or Airlift Crew when they are going to load the vehicle on the bridge or Chinook.Originally posted by MBHawke:I'm not sure if this would be a good place for this question.
