AMX-10 PAC 90 in SAF?

Was at the Marine Carnival over the weekend (which seem more a SAF carnival than anything else) and saw the AMX 10 PAC 90.
Any idea what it's role in the SAF is? Are they a recent acquisition? Haven't seen much of them in Singapore. -
They are no longer in service, used mainly for exhibition purposes to wow crowds when they find the amx-13s too boring.

Well, the AMX-10 does look a heck lot better than the AMX-15. But wah lao, that really boh liao rite? Juz keep a tank for exhibition purposes? All that work maintaining it and all?

Its used by my fren reservist unit in much secrecy becos of its amphbious capabilty ... at least until last year

The last time i heard they are being used by the 42SAR and together with Guards they are used for amphibious assaults. They are not even officially acknowledged yet(not in official websites),are they retired already?

They're still sent to gsmb for maintenance.

The AMX-10Ps and AMX-10PAC-90s should be still in use, after all they are comparatively new whwn compared to the AMX-13s. 22 of each type were bought in the early 1990s, with rumours that more may have been acquired...
