wet tissues? where got such a thing 1 during my time? survived 7 days out there with the same old camou cream and mud since day 1. go to sleep also with camou cream and mud.

My PC found wet tissues inside my SBO. He became super angry and fuck me infront of my plt. He gave me 2 confinement but later reduced to 1 extra.
Well, thats 2nd.
My question is, as a regular, will tis incident affect my career or promotions? Will this 2 stupid/bad/fuck up ting that i did be permantly marked in my personal SAF record book or something?

Guys... its my fault, my PC did specify cannot bring commercial items... btw i can speak now coz i attend C today. On day 2, someone was caught bringing chocolate, all the instructors damn angry morning ask us fall in, tekan till veri jialat, then while we are in KID(knock it down) position, he ask the guy who brought chocolate to eat them infront of us tryin to make us angry.
Then we had an inspection. I am a very slow and blur person, at the moment, i stil think wet tissue is okay. I laid my wet tissue beside my SBO, my sergent, (2SG Nicholas btw as Rockhound know him) glance through my stuff on the floor, his eyes bypass my wet tissue which is NTUC brand green white packaging in colour, and he did not scold or do anthing. At that moment, i assumed chocolate is a nono coz its edible, wet tissues is fine.
For the next few days, some of my frens did warn me, and had shocked faces whenever i took them out especially instructors are nearby, i just sae "Its ok wan lar" and the stories continue in my first post...
Btw u guys mention ADF kena 27 extras... whats ADF? -

tissue is perfectly alright IF you are in unit.
I believe everyone knows that the standard combat rations, inside got a utilities pack where there are solid fuels, matchboxes, blah blah AND ALSO A PACKET OF TISSUE...remember all the lao jiaos?
maybe cuz you in BMT, anyway if your PC dunno anyhow tekan means that he himself never goto unit before, just pass out from OCS only, never go mission, exercises, or outfield etc..so sua ku....
otherwise, he just want to train you all lah...as recruits is the super lowest rank, so should start from basic and learn essential stuffs, not indulged in commercial stuff like chocolates, tissues etc..

Getting extras and getting promoted are mutually exclusive.

i knew an OCT who sign extras but couldn't clear all of them before his commissioning parade. ends up he clear his remaining extras as a 2LT, as Duty Officer.

not OCS. the OCT in question was nearing his training phase in SOCE when he signed the extras. as luck will has it, he got posted back there after he got commissioned.Originally posted by nightzip:heh? Last time when i was an armskoteman...there was this fateful day when i signed 11 extras in half a day...1 for not falling in for first parade, 7 for security breach in armskote (its not that serious as it sounds lah but standard rate was 7 then). The last 3 was for sleeping during office hours...at first i thought, hongkan lah...duty duty lor...but i remembered that for that particular few months the arty battalion in my camp was in charge of guard duty....so 11 extra became 11 days of sai kang...and THAT was bad.
