I was the Butt OIC for our battalion Lima Foxtrot.
Have to set target boards for 2 company's L/F for 2 weeks!
In vest and slacks all the time except acting as safety during L/F.....
Kena sun-burnt like no body's business............
Up and down Khao Meng we go.............the gradient of the butt..........

K-Town is now off limit to all SAF personnel liao.............but if you have the means and will, can still visit it.....at your own risk of course...........
Passed by and had lunch there during our R&R......after lunch, half the battlion visited 1 of the hotel for "window shopping".........too bad time is short...........

Not forgeting River Kwai..........we got 3 hours to spent there............
A bunch of us, share a cab and went K-Town for traditional Thai Massage.....
After 2 weeks of climbing up Khao Meng and M113, the massage really helps!!!!

some highlights of thailand R&R:
Zoo - The zoo is ok, some sort of safari park, drive among animals(zebras, giraffes, lions, tigers, bisons etc etc)......also got elephant show, crocodile show etc.....
Rose Garden - Did not go there
Handicraft Centre - Sucks, waste of time!!
Wax Museum - still ok, wax status of famous Thai monks, thai royalties etc
Floating Market - still ok, where you can sit down and enjoy a freshly brewed ice-cold coffee under the sweltering heat................
War Museum - did not go there
BigC Shopping Centre - just like our hyper mart, Carrefour, nothing special, waste of time............. -
Sai Yok camp? Ha, the gift shop sells replica football shirts. GOt my NUFC jersey for B300.
