3 door bunk "confirmed"??

went round island on tekong in a rover...
went to old bmtc to take a look see, this particular 'bunk' is different from the rest as it has a middle door...
the right arrow points to that "3rd door".
the left arrow points to the same area of another building but its door less. -

for me, i dunno if this is the right bunk... because there are people who said its torn down.

It was on a rainy night and they were out in the woods.
One soldier wasnt feeling well and he was left brhind.And he was never found.
Then he came back and haunted his bunk mates and even caused 2 of them to die.He cldnt find his way out.Thus the 3rd door was created for him to leave the place.

You sure that u saw the 3 door bunk recently?
During my BMT (early 2004), my OC brought us on a run to the old BMTC school, and he pointed to us the 3 door bunk..which doesn't exist anymore..
The bunk had been removed..and what's left is just a bare space which has the marks of a building once over it.. -

Apologise for my ignorance, but if i have not remenber wrongly, the 3rd door bunk is at the BMTC school which is near a satellite station. This does not look like the one I saw.

i remember when my coy harboured at the old BMTC school two during an exercise, that was in 2001. two buddies and i "soh" out one night and went to the edge of the clift to watch the sunrise (most beautiful spot in tekong in my opinion, if not singapore, especially on a starry night and at dawn)
you know the old SOC ground over there with the obstacles curved into a U shape ? at the edge of dawn we saw two figures in clean 4 jogging across the SOC in looping strides ... it was not quite dawn yet so the figures were still a bit indistinct, they came to the U bend and continued straight over the EDGE of the clift and disappeared ! .....
there were no sound .... we looked at each other open-mouthed, and quickly ran back ..... that was a thursday night/friday morning .... -

OK... just to clear your doubts.... this is block 36 of the old BMTC. Since there a few BMTCs in tekong.... this is the one where you can have a nice view of SIngapore from the pavillion... this is the BMTC where after GAC the first camp site... the one with the disused swimming pool.
it's quite eerie to think about that in 1999... the swimming pool was still in use and just 5 years later... it looks as if its abandoned for 15 years. -

the legend says that some dude went missing during a route march.. after searching, they found a headless body.. the head was never found...
after that, the bunk was haunted until a medium instructed they make a 3rd door for the spirit to "return home"... after which, there was no more hauntings... -

For the story, I heard so many versions of it, from different friends. Some how it get twisted or scarrier when retold, I give u my classic example
Soldier 1 to Soldier 2 : "Yesterday night, I heard strange metal noise in blk XXX"
Soldier 2 to Solder 3 : "Eh! Soldier 1 saw something last night in blk XXX!!!!"
Solder 3 to Solder 4 : "Eh! Soldier 1 saw a ghost last night in blk XXX!!!!!"
Soldier 4 to Soldier 5 : "Just heard that Soldier 1 saw a pontiank flying around blk XXX"
Solder 5 to Soldier 6 "Rumors has it there are a group of pontianks flying around blk XXX"
Soldier 6 "SH*T!!!! My bunk is in blk XXX!!!!!!!!!"
Soldier 6 to OC "Sir!, I wish to change bunk, there are pontianks HERE!!!"
OC : "WAT RUBBISH, I was in blk XXX yesterday night trying to get my f**King metal carboard open and I saw nothing!!!"
So I believe the story maybe just simple one but got twisted here and there, add oil add spices to become wat is it become todae. Just think about it.
As for camp 1, been there twice, once we took sheldered there because of a storm. just infront of the jacobs ladder. (Yeah, the infamous, ladder)
Seccond time was a weird one though, I think I mentioned before, we were jogging there in the morning, we saw a grp of stray dogs feasting on a dead white rabbit just behind the cookhouse. I mean......white rabbits? -
wow,this photo bring me back to my bmt times.i was in delta company and sleep in that for 4 mths.

no lah... it's my CSM's ORD gift to me.... he drove all the ORD-ing permstaff around tekong in a rover.. then he become tour guide.... telling us all the things in tekong...

search party found him lifeless just off the track they used during the route march.
there are no puncture wounds on the body, the autopsy only concluded a ruptured stomach. most probable cause is he fainted on his muzzle.
it is from here i guess where one person tell another, the story become "stand by organ"

hmm.. my memory is failing me.....
i forgot if they brought the body back to the bunk for possible rescue attempt or what.
then from then on.. i forgot the story... haha... -
