generally 24 hours or thereabouts but depending on how on your coy is it can definitely be done in less, like say 21 hours. don't forget to factor in longer breaks for meals though.
and pray you get to march at east coast beach!
up and down changi coast road == steam! -

I'm going to have to confirm this with my old army mates, but if memory serves me my company did it in a shade under 18 hours, rest breaks included.

Walk 4km in 45mins, plus 15mins of rest. You will be able to complete in 18hrs.
But easier said than done...i just did the stupid CSB 32km...did it in ard 6 hours 30mins including rest time...damn tired man... -

think scouts have to go through this also in scout course?

Scouts 12 km?
Even normal bmt people have to go for at least 24 km.
Scouts are the only other profession other than commandos that is permited to wear the jungle hat outfield and thus they also go thru some rigorous training that are the same as what the commandos does,one of such training is the 72 km recce cum route march which they have to complete within one day/24 hours
I knew this cause i was in the scout platoon during bmt,thou the 72km is not done in bmt but during trade course when u are really trained to be a scout.In bmt,up to 24 km route march is done. -
We have fast marches, Island-wide topo during the course at SMI in FBO minus helmet. Jockey caps instead. Oh, throw in some animal PT, week in week out Power PT also.Originally posted by Gordonator:no. scouts 12km.
