posted to HQ ARMCEG as autotech 'b' after OETI..

hey guys, just got my posting today towards the end of my course at OETI.. basically, my background is that i enlisted in jan to tekong, after which i was sent for a driving course based at Sembawang HQ S&T, after which i came to OETI to undergo my tech training.
now, i just found out that out of the ENTIRE INTAKE of tech 'b' s for this batch im the only one posted to the above unit.. which i believe is the HQ for Army Combat Engineer's Group or smth..
really need to know if i would eventually have to stay in, as it would really suck for me since 80% of tech 'B' s get to stay out, and even more so as i went for the driving course ( eg: recovery tech ) and was really expecting to be posted to one of the main bases 3, 6 or 9 DSMB for the rest of my NS liability as the rest of the 10 of us who went for the class3/4 course did.. ( all in the same div to boot.... )
my own PC now was actually there for 14 yrs, and has told me that it would be stay out.. as have other SGTs on modular courses at OETI now, however ive heard conflicting stuff from many others as well..
i know this might not seem much to many, but everyone is different, and to me getting to sleep in my own bed, meeting my girlfriend, friends and seeing my family every nite is really very impt to me.. physically fit for anything but really mentally weak.
as such, does anybody have any idea whatsoever about what my situation would be like? cant think of anything else at all now once i got my posting this morning.. would appreciate if anyone in the know could clue me in..

I hear HQ ARMCEG for the time being stay out only,when November starts until end of next year,your unit will start staying in with lots of duties,lots of standby,lots of Ops Bacinet,lots of Alert Reds...Catch all ball right? Right that means countless weekends burned with no offs in lieu.
