feeling abit nervous going to NS

  2 years will pass by in a brink of any eye. it is a unique experience, just treat it as a 2 years adventure camp loh. anyway BMT is fun, go in with the correct mindset and trust me, this is the period where u get to know perhaps some of the best friends in life.

  I know and truly understand what's going through your mind right now, for I went through exactly the same thing mre than three years ago.
  
  The most important thing right now is to have a positive mindset. I won't lie to you.... NS is tough, but it gets even tougher when you think negative all the time.
  
  Also, while the BMT instructors may treat you guys like dogs, remember that no one can make you feel inferior without your permission. Just take it all in your stride and make the best out of things.

  Dun lose sleep over enlisting, its not worth it. Cross the bridge when you get to it.
  
  Just go to BMT with an open mind, check your expectations at the door. Make friends fast, cause they'll be the ones who will help you get thru the tough times.
  The jokers in my section really helped me 'survive' during the darkest periods.
  
  And must remember to have fun, no point dreading about everything. Its not like you have any other choice, so might as well make the most out of it.
  
  What you take away from 2 years of NS really depends on yourself.

  after more than 2 years, i still rank BMT as the most fun period.
