CPC postings nowadays

i realised that nowadays CPC will post fresh recruits to camps near where they live (for stayout vocation). for instance the last batch of new birds in my department, all 7 of them live very near to the camp.
is this a coincidence? i remember last time they like to post poeple living in the west to the east or east to west. -

anyway today i asked my friend in tekong about this, he also say that last few batches of new birds also live in the east like bedok etc.

After my recent training in ROC, I am not complaining anymore abt how far or deserted my camp is (east to west).
While in ROC I met some local NSF, some from Taipei or Tai Zhong but serving their liabilty in Heng Chun which is like 8 hours drive away. Speaking of far eh...imagine they book out on weekend take a 8 hour ride back to home and in like few hours time take another 8 hours ride back to camp...
