posted to Signalling..Any1 knows the job scope?

  hi guys..Just recieved my posting today...wasnt selected for sispec.. but posted to stagmont camp at chua chu kang...very disappointed..Can i ask What does a signal personel do?is it very Shiong?
  
  And what are the things to look out for? My position is sig opr..Any feedback will be greatly appreciated..tks

  depend whether u get posted to a battalion side or brigade side after u finish your course which is 6 weeks. brigade is slacker and most of the time u are doing nothing but sleep. not too sure about battalion side.
  
  when exercise, most of the time you will be in the rover manning your radio. can be quite tiring if noboby take over from you. other than that, it is the slackest vocation you can get with combat pay.
