BBQ ing at those RPL ram near the tekong jetty.. with beer, chicken chop, wings and alot more....just after a 5days training exercise......shiok man.. just drink and eat and play card till everyone is knock out and slept on the ram...

Sitting legs up amongst crates and crates of training ATGM, all three of us specs sitting like chao ah bengs.Talking about uni life after ORD as the tonner sped back to camp...wind in our hair.

Was in Kaoshiung, ROC involved in amphibous exercise in 1996...that time got one senior commander a full colonel was briefing us that this exercise is a secret exercise and words of this exercise should not be let out...when we go out of kaoshiung harbour for R&R....we met this van driver who is selling doll wearing a SAF commando beret outside the harbour......telling us that we r here for amphibious exercise...n telling us that the whole of taiwan knows about this exercise....talk about military operations sercurity....what a joke....

I was "forced" to get best soldier of the month though I had rejected the offer. Other than that, none. It was hell. Nothing good can come out of being in hell. Good memories will be turned to nightmare.

The trainee days at Sembawang School of naval training,like a resort! After classes,we go to spec mess,eat western food everyday.Then go to yacht club,drink beer,play jackpot and watch beautiful sea view and at night gather at a center bunk and chit-chat,play games until late night....

Once, me and this 2LT were sitting on the floor wrapping a running route chart and one of the LTCs almost tripped over us, as we were sitting behind the laser printer cabinet.He was carrying some kueh and coffee..luckily he did not trip.
