Supply supervisor, so what do i do there?

  i have being posted to sembawang camp. My friends all tell me this is a storeman vocation? So what exactly do i do there? And am i on course at sembawang?

  Supply Supervisor is a Logistics Specialist-type of job.
  
  If I'm not wrong, you should be incharge of the stores and the storemen, as a CQMS.(Company Quartermaster Sergeant)

  U on course den u r a trainee, i remeber cqms coz got 3 d 2 n field camp. Stay out, relaxing days i muz say. Everyday lectures n also once a while test, test no need study also nvm as surely they close one eye n help u to pass, my happiest moment there in my ns life. Cherish ur day there as the moment u post to unit, all the rubbish things waiting for u liao, gd luck

  Yeah i hate tat, n also internal audit n stock taking. Even though not as shiong as LRI but also the mere hearing of those words make me sianzzzzzzz.

  NSF? 3SG.
  
  Regular?1WO is the highest I've come across.

  The course is at Sembawang camp under STC, then later part u'll get to go ALTI for on job training, and also SOL for leadership package, then back to Sembawang camp. Also got unit attachment during the 4 months. Altogether got 2 outfield exercises and 1 underslung exercise. Couple of months after passing out frm the course you shld be able to get 3SG rank. And you'll most probably either be a CQMS or Store ic. I just got my posting a few days ago.
  
  Its a fun course lar... so must enjoy yourself for the 4 mnths.

  Sounds like a fun course thanks for the briefing guys. Any way for this batch we are staying in lol. I think its kinda good for my case as i live in the east no need to wake up at 5.

  LRI = Logistics Readiness Inspection
  MT line = Motor Transport line

  do we also need to load the stuff to the tonner, or is it more paperwork or what? cos I pes C excuse heavy loads..

  Storemen and Log Spec different in the sense that you have to do the computer work, inventory checks of your sub-stores and you're like the section commander of your storemen.
  
  it also means that the RQMS and your S4 will place more responsibility on you since you are a 3SG.Your PES status should not change your rank, because this is a logistics vocation, not a combat one.
  
  Physical load worries, well , just go and approach your MO.I mean, in unit, everyone carries the stuff, you cannot expect your storemen to carry all the loads and you relax right..so if you cannot do so, get your excuse all done properly.

  2. so after completing the course, i will be promoted to 3SG right, thus the increase in pay...so how much would i get, for a non combat 3SG?
  
  3. will I just stay in some office and do paperwork, or will I join the storemen, cos in tekong, storemen life was appealing to me, so relaxed, so it would be good if life's the same..

  I've met MWOs doing that before .... in charge of base CQ side ....
  chit chat with the lau chek ... lau chek was complaining about his job ... saying that his job estab doesn't require his rank one ... but SAF too many warrant officers now ....

  well, if you are PES C and maybe not A levels, there will be a higher chance for you to be a storeman in HQ coy than a Logistic specs.

  Not really.Supply Supervisor means he will likely to be the HQ Coy CQMS.

  Anyway storeman also got do paperwork, handle stores all those la..As a storeman, I also do the work of a CQMS though not CQMS trained..well who cares..SAF's training all just for wayang..OJT is the way man..
