The altar at the hill was to pacify the spirit of a woman who was murdered there.Originally posted by Marco_Simone:Hey you know the story behind the altar at the hill? Heard it's quite horrifying...![]()
is it true that those going for 3 week courses in brunei cannot bring along handphones or make phone calls?Originally posted by Dalforce:See your PM for the pay.
Working hours is not 8-5.
Fall in at 0730 for roll-call, followed by CSM's talk. (Can be an hour long or more)
Fall out at 1700 after roll-call.
Meal times are fixed.
Life-run every Tues morning and Thurs evening.
For Friday, normally the afternoon is either camp maintenance or some video-watching in the Function Hall. (Can't disclose much of this cos its kind of classified)
Nights off is only on Wednesday, after work till 2230 or 2300. (I forgot)
DY Parade every month without fail and an average of 7 guard duties for man, and 5 guard commander duties for 3SG.
Enjoy yourself.
Its not that bad...
*Please note that the above-mentioned was how the camp was run when I was perm staff there from 03-04... So maybe things now have changed. But I can confirm there will be sai kang for you cos they are shifting the location of the tank shed.... Good luck and watch your back.
Should be can bah. I don't really have direct contact with those going for courses, so I am not too sure. But I have seen some of them with mobile phones.Originally posted by t42:is it true that those going for 3 week courses in brunei cannot bring along handphones or make phone calls?
