Career Choice Help Plz !

  Hi all !
  Im intested in these two careers offered by Saf and Rsaf
  Rsaf : Aircrew Specialist
  Saf : Combat Specialist
  
  Guys can u help me decide which career to go to because in really confused
  
  You can also include the Pros and Cons of each career .

  mostly logs stuff for aircraft, like check sling and load loads onto aircraft all that, and aircrew in my sqn is almost going to end soon and soon RSAF wont have no ACS

  this two are rather different careers. why did you come to this two in the first place? and of course, why do you think of signing on in the first place? i think it is good to be clear about the motivation here first.

  unless u gonna sign on for life. What can you do with ther experience u gain in the speciallist training. No compnany will value ur experience if u leave the force.

  I plan to sign on for a long time because i like having a career in the RSAF or SAF. I've been planing to sign on since last year and still havent made my decision yet...
  Does aircrew spec get to go to other countries for UN missions or training ?

  one more thing, don't think malays can sign on in the RSAF.

  ACS doest all the winching, loading, they do fly but FE they fly with aircraft anddo servicing also

  combat specialists pretty siong as you start from 3sg to 1sg. cuz you go through sispec, then become sect.comdr then PS.
  but after that, which may be about 3 years, you will be at least 1SG, then maybe go for CSM course etc...then relax abit liao...like become CSM, or weapon specs, or go back to SISPEC etc....
  
  if you need most money, ask the people there if RSAF specialist got additional combat pay or not, if not, then i think combat spec got slightly more money.
