NS: Myopia = PES B?

hey i went for en eye checkup yesterday...to my surprise i have myopia! i used to have perfect eyesight for the past 18yrs and now i have myopia with 25 degree right eye and 25 degree left eye...i am going for commando VA this friday...can anyone tell me if i can still be a commando? some ppl told me that ppl with quite high myopia degree also managed to get into commandos...i dun really believe it because specs cause lot of inconvenience...and parachuting with specs on? i find it unbelievable...can anyone provide me with more info? thanks guys...

Really, 25 is nothing.
But I can tell you one thing for sure, your eyesight is going to detioriate as time goes by. -

haha only son thing is a rumour...i asked the personnel at the cmpb before liao...btw there are many cases where only son got into commandos...so dun believe it...its a rumour....

sheesh. i'm sure i've said this before, and Gedanken has certainly said it too - get this into your collective heads, cdo-wannabes:
nobody knows how they choose commandos.
so get over it. if you don't get a VA at hendon (or pasir ris now, i believe), you aren't going to be a commando unless you sign on. no two ways about it. no such thing as BMT, SISPEC or OCS crossovers.
and even if you do get a VA - forget about ''model answers''. you can go there and do 1 pullup and tell them hell no i don't want to be a commando and u can still very well end up there. the converse is true as well. so don't waste your time, and ours, by posting more inane VA questions (which, incidentally, the answers to which can easily be found by using the friendly SEARCH bar)
specs don't mean shit - lots of people in cdo wear specs. inconvenience, yes. but hardly one which would preclude you from being a cdo. as for jumping with specs - you find it unbelievable? well believe me when i say i jumped with specs. heard of a little thing called goggles? or putting-your-specs-in-your-pocket?
i'm not sure if there's a certain degree of myopia beyond which they make a cut-off, but u can bet it isn't twenty-goddamn-five degrees, for chrissakes.
