I think all those physical tekan wont make me tulan lor. THe most tulan one is make us pack Full battle order, then ask us to "everything out" in 5 secs, "everything in", "Out" , "in" , "Out" , "in" , "Out" , "in" , "Out" , "in" , "Out" , "in" , "Out" , "in" , "Out" , "in" , "Out" , "in." That one pisses me off the most.

BCT - Everything you need to handle. Pretty interesting. Every day is new lessons to learn. off course test and more punishment.
Ranger course (local)- During my time regulars, but later NSF joined in. 63 days course. You will be in bad shape. very bad. Forget about your pride and ranks, can throw them aside liao. Because tha rank is RANGER for the next 63 days. Get ready to prone on the ground to take your meals.
Airborne - Interesting scare but pay-off during your 1st jump. Open your eye to see things around you. This is the best results from your training.
Anything? try 'my' best within the limit of OSA. -
Maybe, a little game known as standby bed in 3 seconds or whole platoon (40 men) bath with soap applied, clean dry and change to PT attire within 5 mintues and fall-in. Eh, just asking u all, is it true that everybatch of BMT sure got 1 joker who will tuck his no.4 in and fall in?
It happened to my company... 1 super blur guy. He fall in that time, we all burst out laughing. PC called him Taiwan Soldier. -
juz wanna add a qn into tis thread... during the cdo basic training do they transfer ppl out to other easier units if they cant make it or if u can survive the whole training then can liao??? thx.....

If the dept/division require a vocation that suit your qualification, they will recommand you to Manpower Officer (S1) to be internal transfer to Cdo MT line as Mech or somethings eles. But chances are rare. Mostly post out of the unit. -
er...... nono.... i dt mean downgrade or injury..... i mean ppl hu r too weak mentally or physically to do wat cdos hv to do... will they b dropped frm the training or sumting....

There is no offer by them to you to drop out like SOF or seals (no bell to ring) Unless is injury with downgraded. Dun think of chances to drop out. -

Once there is a course available for you, you will have to go throught a selection test. Unless, you're already a member of the Red-Beret.
Army guys will have the opportunity first. Every intake, full house from the amry regulators.
As for navy, you guys have your own professional and non-professional diving course conducted by NDU. If 'I' can remember, most Navy guys have this badge with Para wings. So far have no yet witness any navy guys with ranger tag. Unless it is a transfer of tri-service from Army to either navy or air-force. This is very rare unless you sign as a regulator after your NSF to go into other Tri-service. You will be able to 'display' all your tags but beret colour wil have to change. Chances very very rare. -

We called regulars as 'regulator'. This are people that form the back bone of our unit. Pattern of each individual trainer is about the same. treatment wise also about the same. Tekan in the olden days is a culture. Without them we will never success in our mission. Our pushing force.... For those in Cdo will understand why, in the first place we are pushed to the limits, both physically as well as mentally.
No matter how stress or short of time line, we have to think hard for a solution. Teamwork is very important in Cdo, No teamwork, fail mission. Nothing must go wrong and cannot go wrong. Very honest Cdo cannot take failure. Like is that CO take care of the Bn and men.
BMT/BCT no freedom.....Operational ready hell lots of freedom. Those were the years. You ever witness booking out in bemudas and slipper for senior coy.
But now thing have change. Saw younger generation booking out in t-shirt and jeans....
