Not true.
For specialists the pay sort of evens out after the rank of SSG and above.
meaning the pay for all education for specialists will prob won't be that much of a difference after SSG and above.
But right now they are trying to upgrade the specialists core to diploma, so not advisable to take up SAF as a career if you aren't a diploma holder...
As for age 50, you'll prob stay in the army till 55 cos that is the retirement age for WOSE (warrant officers and specialists). Unless they revise that age this few years....
