Regrets :- Not taking more photos of camp life and buddies and while on exercise. I only have a few photos , some of which are blur, because they were using lousy cameras borrowed from friends.
Not building up more on my leg muscles before enlistment.... I was very fit on the upper body. As a result , was on MC on many days during BMT , because of stress fractures on the shin and tendonitis on the ankles, could follow training but could not run too much. RESULT :- deemed not fit enough for the rigours of OCS but was sent to SAFINCOS (SISPEC). -
1. I regret passing up the offer of Parade Commander to my section mate and instead becoming Parade 2IC.
2. I regret giving my bunkmate 100++ worth of credits.
3. I regret taking my class 3 so early and now, i drive so many people all about paying my own petrol.
4. I regret saboing my friend to go SOL

regret getting bullied by sick sgts during bmt and not fight back.. as in complained and send my parents to made sure they get dentention or something for always taunting and insulting me..... even extroting for me... damn!
regret getting to know and trust someone in my unit.. who turned out to be my worst nightmares.. even worse than those sick sgts... and still not really getting back even though I'm of higher rank than him.... worst regret....
kind of regret applying for disruption... should have used the time to do some revision.... -
I regret for downgrading if not nw i might not be in my present reservists training unit...

NO.1 Regret!
Not keeping in touch with my fellow unit mates who went through the same shit over and over again in training and overseas exercises.
Now i study overseas and looking back at some photos I miss them so much. Do yrself a favour and organise a gathering with yr previous unit friends!
