  actually is MRF a classified unit?

  Classified? A monthly video at Mindef.gov.sg featured them and they described the MRF on the website so publicly... where got the so-called classified?
  
  The only things I noticed about them are their 'hoo-waa!!' war cry, hairstyle, bio-treatment blue tentages, stylo black backpack, bio-suit, their medical orderly pouch (different from combat medic)... and... they wear Admin with boots and the green socks covering half the boots.

  MRF man will eventually go up to 3SG.
  
  saw many of them during guard duties, from guards (medic trainee, PTE) to guard 3IC (MRF trainee, PTE) to guard 2IC (3SG).

  all of them are required to keep that hairstyle because when they wear the mask, the mask will has a closer contact with the skin, thus harmful chemical cannot slip in.

  beats me, we just refer to it as the MRF haircut. if u want, u can go to the SMM barber, 2nd floor at the canteen, tell him u want the MRF hairstyle, he'll understand.

  Currently I do not know of any Regular MRFs..

  The MRF are the true unsung heros uh...labelled as saikang warriors in SMM...they stand by when any international or government bigshot is having some gathering...or there is a national event like NDP...
  
  yesterday they standby again..for some NDP investiture dunno wat crap....sometimes can pity the guys sia...
  
  just check out their website....under triage or something can see some MRF personnel as mock casualties...thats their haircut lor..gotta squint abit....

  IMO.....i think the MRF should implement handgun training and introduce a handgun as an SOP.....
