I dun think it's true... unlike Cdos, divers are not self sufficient... their medics by vocation are never divers and why the heck do they need sniper and scouts in the NDU for ??!!

It's true they do have the chance to attend BAC, but its only for the regulars... it's just not their required method of deployment... more of a confidence course... even if that's the case, i rarely see divers with airborne wings, they would rather go for courses which are more relevant to them... US Navy Seals attachments, Combat engineers demolition courses etc...
Just my point of view, if divers could do the job of the Cdos... we might as well disband the Cdos... haha
