How do they post everyone to whichever unit...is it according to education background, academics results or performance in BMT

i thought it depends entirely on whichever unit happens to need a new intake etc?
and ya, i should think that it depends on your education level as well. i've seen many and plenty a O level driver, few A levels and poly grads. but i've never seen an <= 'o' level clerk before...
