Hey i was enlisted to pasir ris commando camp on 6th Jan 2006...Is the BMT tough? is it completely similar to Tekong BMT? I have checked with previous topics on commando BMT but they din manage to fill me up leh...so guys do share with what u know thanks!

if u wana noe more abt it...u can try ask the Lao jiao Cdos around here..but if they dun wana tell u..find out the hard way lor..

commando BMT's follow roughly the same format as the Tekong BMT, i don't know the diff ... cos i never knew any other ... but you'll learn a bit more stuff than the tekong BMT.... there will be lessons on handling the SAW, M203 and the armbrust ....( but no live firing of those of course ) in addition to your M-16 and grenade throws .... and be prepared to book out later, and book in earlier than tekong boys ...
oh yeah ... now that you're in ... it's time to deflate your ego a bit eh .... it'll do you no good .... -

but they'll certainly expect more ... every step of the way the trainers will remind you that you're CDO recruits .... so there .... just go with the flow, do your best, but remember to take care of yourself, and you'll be fine ... good luck ! ... -

well .... best thing to do now ... concentrate on your A's .... and then go spend more time with your family ... and play more ... and try to forget everything anyone has ever told you about the army ... =) ... all this "you say i say he say " business .... in the end it's best that you discover things by yourself ... -
Special Splint, be good & train up your stamina bcos you'd be running like no day and night.
But the BMT training nowadays are more professional which emphasize more on development.

hmm...ok haha will train hard...hope it will not be too tough..still remember few yrs back when my track n field coach put me into a special running programme where i had to endure those monstrous trainings...guess what ended up i almost fainted once...due to dehydration...not nice feelings at all

haha congrats. but i can tell u the bmt is tougher den in bmtc but the cdo bmt u gng thru soon is diff as my cdo bmt when i get it in hendon. hur...

now u be under professional training.... nothing to worry...
for the new camp, i am not sure... i am from the old camp...
