  There are reports that there are 50% NSmen who are gays. Is it true? I have encounter several of them during my times a few years back, but this new statistic is just fantastic.

  Got to be joking! During my time and I don't think it has changed now... we were all (all ranks) talking constantly about girlfriends and girls. There were only a few exceptions.

  50% is a bit qua zhang la. i say at most 20%, including bisexuals and closet cases.

  You think as high as 20%? In my BMT school where I was posted, we used to come across one or 2 per company during each 3 month BMT course, we ran for recruits. So, likely to be less than 2%. But these were the obvious cases.
  
  Bisexuals and closet ones... maybe double this. So 5%, more realistic?

  i believe there are a lot of closet cases. no doubt the product of a highly ignorant and intolerant society like singapore's so 20% isn't actually far fetched considering the actual % number of gay people in society

  I heard from friends in some other camps that some pp declare gay to siam duties LOL but how come gays cannot do duty LOL weird excuse.

  hannor. being gay is not a disability. i dun see why they cannot do duties also. just because they r gay dun mean they are going to screw all their bunkmates. dunno how SAF see things one.
  
  makes me wonder if the people at the top running things aren't secretly closet gays in denial.
