The mottoe is "We live"? How apt.Originally posted by Gordonator:
The Specialist and Warrant Officer Institute's (SWI) logo was unveiled by Chief of Army, MG Desmond Kuek on 12 September. The motto of SWI is 'We Live', which is the philosophy SWI will use to train and motivate the WOSPEC to live Our Army's values, the Army experience and to complete the mission.
The logo shows the 3SG and 2WO rank insignias displayed above a book. The ranks show the commitment of SWI to the development of both the Warrant Officers and Sergeants, while the book reflects the WOSPECs quest for knowledge and improvement.

Then what?Originally posted by specfore:
Sounds like the name of a pop music group " WE LIVE" !
Terrible sense of imagination. Desmond K. was an ACS boy, my senior, he should have a better imagination or at least encourage his officers to have better imagination.
Is this institute meant to replace the old Warrant Officer's School?Originally posted by Rockhound:Pasir Laba Camp...beside the rebuilt sispec

And what happened to Sispec's campus in Tekong? That building is still quite new, isn't it?
there will still be SISPEC. just that it is under SWI.Originally posted by nomood:wait wait wait, is this going to replace sispec?? if not what is it meant for? why are 3sgs part of it?
ya nice logo lousy motto.
The motto conjures up images of a bunch a geriatric men doing the acceptable minimum, hanging on...just clinging on for a couple of years more...till they retire...Originally posted by Gordonator:The logo looks nice. but the motto needs more work.![]()
The motto sounds so corny. It is definitely out of place.Originally posted by Gordonator:The logo looks nice. but the motto needs more work.![]()
