Solve this problem. (based on a real situation)

Assume everything below is true.
You're a PC in an infantry company.
Your CSM = Bo Tak Chek (no education), Zhor Bo Lan (never perform his duties), and Bo Li You (unreasonable).
All the people under him are suffering and complaining.
He even got the cheek to tekan his specs and men when the fault largely lies with him.
Fellow PCs do not care about the issue cause they're not subjected to his reign of terror and they do not have the courage to confront the balding old man.
You went to see Mr good-for-nothing OC regarding this issue.
PC: sir, regarding CSM........blah......blah.......
OC: *nod*, i understand the situation, don't worry......
And of cause, nothing was done.
PS: Mr good-for-nothing OC and Bo Tak Chek CSM are buddies.
They get drunk at the mess together at least twice per week. -
LL... since brought up to OC, there's nothing much else to do. I'm guessing everyone knows how your CSM is like, but nobody can do anything abt it. Really LL, coz that's his character.
Just have to protect your own guys from any extra harsh treatment, TSR violations etc. -
erm properly u all can invite the csm with the help of the PC to have an open talk ..but do be tactful as in inform ur PCs prehanded in the how to tackle this issue . i think he should be able to help caus he is supposed to lead to excel and overcome mah.(and he is ur age too u see). Then have a talk with the csm but must rally all the men acknowlegment mah..erm if it is possible ..during the meeting make noe ur situation and ur feeling to the csm (with a respectful tone) and let him noe how u felt..with ur pc bside u.
erm try not to go the the oc caus it will caus the csm to lose face ..we all wan a win win situation mah rites ...
of all else fail something is wrong with the principle and the protocall of the csm and ur unit ..
ANd if It is a serious case of abusing authority..then make know to upper commands -
Since ur rank is bigger, dun hesistate to talk some sense into him.

i remember last time, my PC got even f*k the CSM before, and "hua" him in the coy line.
I remember my PC say, "......blah blah so what, I commissioned officer, you leh!"
i think thats a good one.
anyway, when you ORD, the CSM will be picked from one of the PS from your coy...so just wait till you ord lah...
I also remember last time Coy 2IC also challenged before CSM...quarrel until the whole coy line can hear....hahaha....until the CO must come down and pacify them...

as a PC, do what u can do to make yr men feel better loh.

a PC cannot control his CSM is a loser. when the PC 1st came abroad, he should hv establish a firm foothold over command & control. not wait until so late then think of solution.
now want to change also can lah. talk to the CSM and tell him you got negative feedback. need to buck up and dun make things difficult for you. else you will act accordingly through chain of command. can also recommend him to post out. scare him lah. -
hahaa rank is one thing but i think seniority is much more impt Lol and also the differences btw an nsf n a regular.Army is like that one lah LOL very very "dark sided"this type of thing very hard to advice loh ,must see the situation in your camp whether got someone high rank and good loh but usually everybody in the camp just want a quiet and peaceful life even if u sound out,also dunno when will it be affective LOL,It depends lah LOL
But can tell u one thing lah numbers is very impt and power of clivlians is quite powerful,u know what i mean do U
but still it better to follow the chain of commands. -
A PC should not be afraid of his CSM. Go all the way up, even if you need to see our Def Minister. Must get rid of those 'no education' soldiers........even they served for 10 over years specs.......give them no respect.
Our SAF needs ppl like you. -
as a commission officer, it's up to u to ensure everyone especially your men is treated fairly. if u see injustice like the CSM case study above, don't hesitate to step in and sound out. give the CSM a piece of your mind, tell him what u think, reason with him.
or else give u so high rank for what. make use of the power given to u so that u can better benefit your men. but don't misuse the power or u yurself will end up like him.
