Wrong. RSM is not No 2 man in the unit during wartime. Chain of command shall be follow during wartime, CO, S3, Support Coy OC, Riffle Coy OCs, PCs than RSM, CSMs, PL sgt.(S1, S4 & QM are not in as they will not be in the main body most of the time) RSM will not know the battle plan as much as the office as his duty is to maintain the unit discipline & organize task to respective NCO to ensure the unit is function.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Not too sure, but his appointment is definitely higher than a PC.The RSM is the Number 2 in the Unit during wartime conditions and he enforces the orders laid down by the CO.
During peacetime, his disciplinary scope might include everyone, i.e if he needs to charge a commissioned officer for committing a serious offence, he will do so by recommending it to the PSOs in the unit, if I'm not wrong.
Can anyone clarify?
busy man.Originally posted by Ponders:BMTC RSM (referring to MWO Raymond)
double appointment as BMTC School 1 SSM.

Let me rephrase myself, the RSM is the no.2 Disciplinary Officer in ops.He ensures the proper and efficient implementation of duties amongst the men.Originally posted by seachfun:Wrong.
