Wrong. Its the pack. Its too small. Yes, you can get everything, but it is not what any sensible person would call a good and comfortable fit.Originally posted by Deportivo:it's not the pack, its the packer.
u all using the old field pack with smaller side pockets i presume?Originally posted by lwflee:Wrong. Its the pack. Its too small. Yes, you can get everything, but it is not what any sensible person would call a good and comfortable fit.
I guess so.Originally posted by Rockhound:u all using the old field pack with smaller side pockets i presume?
Well, I dunno what you mean by the old field pack. When i was in, the field pack i used was the one whose side pouches were a perfect fit for 1x 24 hour combat ration, unopened. Its the one made of a thin nylon-like material (maybe it is nylon) and which is sealed with 2 x velcro flaps, followed by a cover that was basically 2 x nylon sheets with a velcro opening to allow you to store things like maps, etc in the cover itself.Originally posted by Rockhound:u all using the old field pack with smaller side pockets i presume?
