Anyway, i dun quite like that design as well. After several washes, what you have is a plain greyish unform because the lil digital spots cannoy be made easily out...or so i heard.
We really shouldnt rush into things. The US army, navy, airforce, marines etc have too much money to throw around. I get the impression many opf the uniform changes is more of a "They've got a snazzy new uniform, why shouldn't we?" type of situation, rather than one motivated by operational requirements. -

i was supposed to be issued trial uniforms.... they never elaborate much why it is "trial uniforms"
now i ord already..... nothing is heard about the trial uniforms yet. haha
but someone did come to my camp to get all the sizings.
as for digital cammo.... it is very effective.
don't think is in the pipeline for SAF yet. -

I've seen the US digital camou prints on their fatigues... and really, they are GOOD. Prob is, the fatigues are printed specifically for the terrain of operations. So far, I know those hunters, like to use the digital camous, cos they know their hunting grounds well.
SAF... well, don't expect any digital camou lar. Even the US is still retaining their normal camous, I suspect sg will do the same. -

Digital camou is digitally printed. Higher resolution, so the printed patterns would look more real.

I'm sorry, I dunno where u got ur pirated digital camou from. But the digital camou i saw in the US had leaves that looked like leaves on it. Its like a photograph of woodlands pasted on ur no.4. Btw, even ur pirated digital camou looks better than the normal woodland one when seen from a distance. This i kid not.

Wrong. You are refering to Realtree Camouflage, which is not Digital Camo. MARPAT, being US obviously said that MARPAT pattern is different from CADPAT. So CADPAT got no case. hahah.
MARPAT simply said their research went all the way back to 1970 only it was undisclosed. Whereas CADPAT came out with their design in 2002.
