Time : 10am to 5pm
Venue : Singapore Polytechnic, The Plaza
HIGHLIGHTS:
-A display of the latest weapons and vehicles
-Exhibition displays on Our ArmyÂ’s formations

dam sian lor... i hurt my foot, else i would sign up for the paintball compy.. haiz. Any of u guys going? Let me know, I study at SP these days. Can have a mini outing. =D

They already setting up the stuff here liao. Paintball arena also already up le. Ha. Saw some tonners from CDOs here also. Probably gonna see some cool weaponry on display from them.

anyway will like to ask something, the poly school holidays sysytem changed hasn't it? saw many students going back to SP nowadays.

Its changed man... We are still having lessons now. Mid Semester test is in 2 weeks time. Only a 1 week break on x'mas week.

Army Encounter 2005, don't expect anything "explosive." There's some lan gaming and paintball thing going on. The rest are just static displays.
Some vehicles on display are : Primus, BX, and some Recovery vehicle parked outside FC4.
At the main plaza, there is signals bronco... Dunno wad its called.
Commandos display is more of a guns and equipment display. Some weapons on display are Mp5A5s, Mp5SD, P90, Vektor, an old HK pistol dunno wads dat, 2 tactical shotguns etc. The rest are like airborne and diving gears. THe most interesting stuff are the badges on the guys manning the display =D SOF badge lar, Navy Seal badge lar...
Guards display still quite dry, nothing much to see besides 2 LSVs.
The HQ9 div display is perhaps more interesting. Some stuff on display are Steyr 69, Matador (bloody heavy), SPike, Sar-21(urban warfare mod).
Combat engineers is more or less manned by EOD. THey brought their robots down... pity they didn bring their dogs... what a waste, sure score points with the girls one.
Signals : Didn see... just the signals bronco thats all.

Nothing fantastic about the weapons by CDO lar... just that seldom see b4. Haha.

the industrial attachment period differs from course to course i think. Mine is definitely not for just 1 mth, im sure.
