  Hi all, I got posted to ATEC UNIT AT PASIR LABA. VOCATION IS RIFLEMAN. NO NEED TO BRING SAF BMT ITEMS.. ONLY BRING PT KIT. what is that? can anyone englighten me? what kind of life is it?

  Enemy for battalions going for ATEC.
  
  I think ( can anybody confirm ) the reason why you have to bring PT kit is because you'll be issued with a different kind of uniform. Different colour i think. Tiger stripes ones.
  
  And you'll be doing everything like other units are doing too.
  And your mission will primarily be enemies for other units going for their ATEC, be it In SG or overseas.

  Something like op-force isit? Get to play the 'bad guy' during exercises.

  ATEC conducts exercises for combat units.They play the OPFOR(Opposing Force) role.

  Congratulation you have been selected to be one of the special unit of the Singapore Armed Forces.
  
  ATEC = Army Training Evaluation Centre
  Your company = Aggressor Coy(Opposing Force)
  You will be doing ATEC execise almost every two weeks while other combat unit may have only two during their service.
  
  I'm not going to post any of the training during your ACT but it is going to be tough, very tough cos remember you will be doing ATEC with the commando so your OC will need to gear you up.
  
  Pls don't try to downgrade cos Aggressor is a very special unit.
