Take the two threads as the center line.Then pin your crest on the left facing the threads.
Later, tie the threads together or else they will stick out.
Fold the beret in half and flatten it under a heavy object to acheive the desired shape.
All the above instructions should be done with the guidance of a lao jiao, about to ORD soldier.Correct if there is anything wrong, it's been a while since I wore my beret..used to prefer the jockey Cap. -

I got that during NDP 04. 3 months of almost non-existance weekends.
But they do provide the ceremonial lance guards during formal parades. You see them with the long spears or poles during National Day parades.[/b]

Well - maybe one day Mindef will make it standard for all units to wear berets with their number 1 ceremonial uniforms.
Personally, I feel that the combat engineers should have their own berets. I've seen certain things before in a joint training exercise with the 35th.
What colour should the engineer beret be? German engineers use red berets, Israeli engineers use light gray.
