the food isn't that bad to be labelled as lousy.
but then MOST of the 'soldiers' we have now are complete p*ssies. -
there's once my batch did a total LOUSY for that week, e-mail shot up to head and kena confinement... WTF..... no freedom even in food.

they really care about the food meh ? ... I thought such feedback are all wayang one ... I mean, think of all the food that's wasted everyday, but posted wastage rate still never go beyond 5% what ...
neways I never had any complaints about cookhouse food before ... -
last time during the drop chips system the survey is definitely a bullsh|t as the messing warrants n the sfi people can 'cheat' behind everyone's back. not sure about the current scan card system but somehow i think that it is not transparent enough.

Think if they get good, at most got bonus lor, else lousy maybe no bonus and kenna change contractor. -
Once during BMT I remember reading something like this on my company notice board:
Cookhouse survey:
Later there will be a cookhouse survey conducted when you go for lunch. You are only allowed to select 'good' or 'satisfactory'. Do NOT select 'unsatisfactory'.
By order of RSM.
Go figure.

cos if select 'no good' there must do After Action Review and wat big wayang...if its good or ok then its just 'all in order and no compliant' kind of hting, easier to stamp, sign and countersign to end it all.

I really have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. I didn't even know who was the RSM (and truth be told, I still don't). I remember in the following CO talk, one guy in another platoon did feedback to CO about this. He simply said that he would talk to RSM about this. After that, we didn't hear anything more about this issue, though.
Oh well, it's all water under the bridge, or whatever you want to call it. -

no i'd rather have normal hawker fare than bland healthy nutritous food.
they should just close down the cook house, distribute the money saved as 'meal allowance' and lease out all the stores to canteen operators. you get happy solderis and you can collect rent. -

It's always middle management messing up the good things that HQ hands down from time to time.Sometimes the food is really bad, and since there is a survey, then it's only logical to feedback.
If it's going to be a wayang session, save the tax dollars.Or just accept the chore of AAR that comes with it, for those Commanders.. Don't be a sissy. -
