  You forgot one: Senior Medic 2IC. Though he can also take on any one of the above roles.

  Also for active units, during outfield, the medical center medics will be deployed in what is known as the Battalion Casualty Station (BCS).
  
  Before I go into details regarding the BCS, can I ask the other medics here.... are there things about it which I shouldn't be telling everyone?

  See the whole company of kensters lor...Registration, take blood pressure, temperature, do ECG, X-ray, dispense medication, provide medical cover for training troops, cover IPPT, SOC, handle soldiers in sick bay, set drip, change dressing, prepare documents for medical board....lots more..

  anyway, for me working at the specialist medical centre, there's never a free day because we receive appointment requests from all medical centres.. plus ongoing clinics for various specialities. There were some occasions when we had 14 clinics running for the whole day, and medics even sometimes need to stay back because of large clinics.
  
  I had stayed back until 10pm before, and had to walk out to the main road to take a bus. The internal buses serving had 30 minute headways! :S

  When I was posted to my unit, I have to do 10 to 12 duty medic for a month due to the lack of manpower as CCO medical centre usually don't have the right to get more medic as usually the active one would get it.
